The RAIRI established its first recovery house in February 2008 and another on August 8, 2008. The Transitional Housing Program is designed to assist women and men in distressed situations, and is unique in that it focuses on transformation of lives rather than just housing needs. Many clients returning back to society or sobriety tend to lack the fundamental skills required for basic daily living and decision-making.
